Adjunct therapies and neurodiversity-informed approaches recognize that brain health is not one-size-fits-all. Across the lifespan, individuals, including those with autism and other exceptionalities, may benefit from complementary supports such as vision therapy, mindfulness practices, trauma-informed care, and sensory-based intervention and adjunct interventions such as medical cannabis. This area highlights strengths-based, inclusive approaches that honour diverse ways of thinking, learning, and experiencing the world, while promoting resilience, function, and well-being.
