
The Thompson Rivers University Brain Health Coalition (TRU BHC) advances brain health education, research, practice, understanding, and applications through local, regional, and national initiatives on issues, trends, and challenges. The BHC will cultivate a strong network and support system, grounded in learning together, and embracing the current brain health research works, and our current understanding of practice towards better applications and advancements in the field.

Key Focus Areas of Research and Development

We acknowledge that the TRU Brain Health Coalition sits on the traditional lands of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc and the T’exelc within Secwépemc’ulucw, the traditional and unceded territory of the Secwépemc. The region we serve also extends into the territories of the St’át’imc, Nlaka’pamux, Tŝilhqot’in, Nuhalk, Dakelkh, and Métis communities within these territories, and beyond.
